Overview
This tutorial will show you how to test if the viewer's computer is fast enough to display the animations in your movie.
I have run into the problem that too many people get carried away with their animations. I do love a good animation, but I don't want my computer (133 Mhz) to be overwhelmed with an animation to where it jerks, and skips. This tutorial provides one solution to the problem.
Because many people have fast computers, I don't think you should be worring that someone will not get to see the content of your site, just because they have a slow computer. You have no controol over the viewers computer speed, why should you have to worry?
In this tutorial, you will learn how create an animation that executes a litle "testing" on the viewers computer, and then send them to a diffrent page depending on the results of the test.
