Target Path, communication between movies
One of the best new features in Flash 5, is the easiest way the movies can communicate between each others, using dot notation, and absolute or relative paths. My intention is to demonstrates in a graphical/practical way how these target paths will looks like. I hope you like it.
How it works?
You'll see a diagram with the movies and its movieclips; it's hierarchy is represented by colored lines, so, to find one of the possible path for the movies to communicate: first pick a "source"(where the actions comes from), then pick the "target" (where action goes to), select a desired action from de dialog box ( you'll see it) and press the "show me" button, the action is displayed in the Object Actions. To fin another action/path, close de Object Action dialog box as you used to do in flash( by clicking in the "x" button).
