There are a number of options for creating Flash movies for your web or blog. One common option is to use Macromedia Flash application, which can assist you create wonderful flash videos. Unless you master actionscript and programming, that’s too complicated.

If you are a mac user, the option I currently recommend is video to flash converter for mac, which is affordable for most people and easy-to-use, no need to make actionscript or programming. Here’s a quick guide to show you how to use the video to flash converter for mac to convert other video formats to flash FLV/SWF files.

Follow the below steps, you will find it easy and fast to convert video to flash video in FLV/SWF formats for sharing video on website and blog.

Step1. download and install video to flash converter for mac

Step2. Launch the flash converter and add video

After install the video to flash converter, double-click its icon to launch and in the clear interface, click the “Add Video”, navigate to the video folder and choose videos you want to convert, then click “Open”.


Step3. Customize your videos

1. Select video profile and take audio and video settings
Click “Customize” button next to the “Add video” and in the panel to choose a right profile for your output video in the profile field. Set the video width, Height, Frame Rate, Bitrate and audio Sample Rate, Channels, Encoder, Bitrate. Then press “Next”.


2. Set the output format
Check “Generate FLV or Generate SWF or Generate HTML” to set FLV or SWF or html page embedded with flash video as your output formats.


Tips: You must choose either Generate FLV or Generate SWF or both. If you haven’t check Generate SWF, you can’t choose Generate HTML and if you haven’t choose Generate FLV, you can’t choose Generate SWF–>Play the created external FLV file progressively. If you choose Generate SWF–>Play the created external FLV file progressively, Generate thumbnail is selected automatically.

3. Add some content to flash video
After choose the right output formats, click “Press” button to go to the step3 of customize window, select your favorite background color and free skinner flash player with control bar and special effect for the target flash video.



Step4.Start video to flash flv/swf conversion

After all settings is done, click the “Start” to start the video to flash flv/swf conversion.
