Download the js file which contains the functions, you only need two of them:
First you put the line to the external script above your <%lt%>/head<%gt%> tag:
<%lt%>script language=JavaScript src="/imagesvr_ce/flashkit/tutorials/Tips_And_Techniques/Flash_an-Wouter-675/dhtmlflash.js"<%gt%><%lt%>/script<%gt%>
Then you have the choice of two functions:
1. The first one you use if you want your movie to show in a fixed size. Just put in the next lines into your html:
<%lt%>script language=Javascript<%gt%>
startFlashFixed(0,0,"flashmovie.swf",100,100);
<%lt%>/script<%gt%>
The parameter explained in order from left to right:
startFlashFixed = the function which is in the external javascript file
0 = the space of the top from the page to the layer
0 = the space between the left side of the page and the layer
"flashmovie.swf" = your own flashmovie which will show in the
page (layer)
100 = the width of the flash movie in pixels
100 = the heigth of the flash movie in pixels
2. The second is if you want to show your movie in a relative size. Then you put in the next lines into your html:
<%lt%>script language=Javascript<%gt%>
startFlashRelative(0,0,"flashmovie.swf",100,100);
<%lt%> /script<%gt%>
The parameters of this script are the same as from number one but the width and height of the flashmovie are now relative (%).
When you have copied and configured the script you can make new layers with your own content or whatever you want and if everything is done good you will see your own layers on top of the flash movie.
