Text Zoom Effect

Things You need to know:

This is one of the most basic ,still a cool, effect one can make in Flash.

1. Working with Alpha settings.
2. Working with movie clips.
3. Basic tweening.

Preview: It should look something like this.

Method:

It is quite simple actually. Just make 4 separate layers for each letter i.e. 'Z' 'O' 'O' 'M'. Now you need to break apart all of the 4 letters for shape tweening. Now in the first keyframe of Z make it's size as big as you like keeping it at the center of your screen and reduce its alpha to zero. At the last keyframe reduce the size you want to keep, keep the alpha 100 and move the letter a little bit to the left. Now apply the same method to all of the other letters. Now in your timeline make sure that the second letter 'O', starts after 'Z' as shown in the attached .fla file. :) Enjoy!!!!
