Step One: Creating the TextFirstly, you create the text that you are going to place the effect on:
This is an example of the text that I used in my Example *.SWF Simply click the text tool, click somewhere on the stage, and type whatever. Notice that I used a "thick" font, which will allow more of the effect to be seen. But it is not necessary that you use a font like that, the effect will still look good on any text. Don't spend time trying to perfect the color of your text, as it will be used as a mask later, and you won't be able to see the color of the text anyway.
