Now we'll use the Fill tool.
First you'll have to make sure your shape is selected.
TIP: Select View > Hide Edges for hiding
the dot pattern of a selected object!
In the illustration below I use that trick for hiding the dots. (The animation
starts with the dotted shape.)
To fill the shape, hold the SHIFT key while you click and drag with the fill
tool.
Start at the top of the shape, and drag to the bottom of it.
