In this tutorial we will be looking how to create a button with both the single click and double click functions. But wait I hear you say "Why do i need double click functionality? Web users are used to single click buttons." True, but as bandwidth increases and the power of both designer and Flash increase, we will be seeing more and more powerful flash movies like flashtyper and other online desktops. It's in this area of development where the double click functionality is very much a part of the furniture.
Before we build it let's look at the theory behind it.
