Search tutorials
1) Make three layers, no more, no less. 5 is far too many and 2 is not in the least bit enough.
2) Make a new movie clip, whatever size you want the projected screen to be, the background being transparent gray without any outline.
3) Make two new graphics, one being a slightly tilted dark gray line, the other being a small dot of the same color.
4) Put the 1st movie clip you made onto the bottom layer of the main stage.
5) Put the line and dot on the top layer in the stage.
6) Put whatever you want to be shown on the projector in the middle. (Please note that this effect looks best when everything is grayscale)
7) Make around 5 keyframes on the top layer, and 5 normal frames on the other two.
8) On each keyframe, move the line and dot to random positions, but make sure the line is always the height of the projector screen [i]exactly[/i]!
9) You're done!
Notes:
It looks good if the middle layer is moved down-left for one frame every 30 or so, as seen in the example file.
