How it Works

This could also be done with only two layers, by very carefully selecting the part to be deleted. Using this method, creates the same effect but makes creation a lot easier because you can delete large portions of the letter and the letter at the back will show instead of the background.

More Than Two Letters?

To create this effect with more than two letters is quite simple and can be achieved in only 2 steps:

1. Before starting, create a new Movie Clip/Graphic (Insert>New Instance) and follow the above steps to create this effect with the first two letters.
2. Place that MC/Graphic on the stage and follow the above steps using the MC/Graphic as the middle letter and loop a third one around it

To create more than three letters, use the above two steps but instead, place the MC and other letter into a second MC/Graphic and so on, there is no limit to how many letters you can loop.
