Create the MovieClip for the Trail
Change the Movie's Frame RateTo begin with, set the Movie's Frame Rate to 60 (Modify>Document).
Keep it simple
Now create the MovieClip which will act as a trail. For the time-being, create a simple shape like a circle and give it a color of your choice.
Make it small
In the Properties Window (Window>Properties), enter the name of the MovieClip as trail. Also, enter 5.0 as the Width and Height.
Note: If you cannot see the Width and Height fields, you need to click on the small arrow at the bottom-right of the Properties Window to expand it
