Final Thoughts

Now your movie should be ready to run. If you've done everything correctly, you should have a working model of your kitchen or office in no time!

Hints & Tips
Don't just try to cut and paste my code. Chances are, you won't get all the right parts changed to fit your own movie. Just study the .fla and think about the general idea behind agileVR for a while. Once you've figured out exactly how it works, you'll have a much easier time making your own. With this tutorial and the .fla available in the downloads section, you should be able to get your own to work without too many problems.

Save your work often. This is a great idea no matter what you're programming. As I said before, Flash becomes less stable when you are working with large images and it is prone to crashes. Saving after every significant change can save you a lot of grief in the end.

I've found that agileVR runs its fastest and most smoothly in IE5 with wmode set to transparent. If you don't know what this means, look at the source for the movie embedded above. Look especially at the and parameters. To see the difference, view this page with both IE and Netscape.

Now for the final result....

After much analysing of code and .fla you should end up with something like this.

» Description: Hmm... what to say about this one? It's reminiscent of the closing notes of the opening music from the Three Stooges done in a church organ style with a closing cymbal crash. I'll give this one away gratis, but feel free to check out my free loops and potential upcoming license-mandated ones over in the respective part of Flashkit.
