Create the Symbols

First symbol = GRAPHIC, named "ball"
Draw a circle 10 wide and 10 high, no outline and a red/black gradient for the fill.

Second symbol = GRAPHIC, named "line"
Draw a straight white line with a line width of 1 and a length of 300

Symbols on Stage

Drag a copy of the "line" symbol into the first frame of the TEMP layer and center it
Drag a copy of the "ball" symbol into the first frame of the LASER CONTACT layer
Turn on the snap feature and snap the "ball" symbol to left end of the "line" symbol
Choose SHOW ALL from the zoom menu so that the 2 symbols are nice and visible

Insert Frames

Insert a frame (not keyframe) into frame 31 of the TEMP layer
Lock all layers except the LASER CONTACT layer
