Create the Second Masking EffectIn the movie the second masking effect looks like a shadow vertical movement of bar across the image from top-down direction. We will show you how to get this effect.Add 2 new layers in timeline, named it as horizontal mask layer and image2 layer . In horizontal mask layer at keyframe 26, drag the bar from library (Ctrl+L) to the stage. Adjust its shape to make it suitable and proportional for the image size. In this tutorial, we transform (Press Q) the bar to be more in its width and less in its height. Put the bar at the top outside of image. Then, add new key frame (F6) at position 40 move the bar to the (around) middle area of image. Add new key frame (F6) at position 66, move the bar to little bit up, and at keyframe 74 move out the bar from the bottom side of image. Image2 layer consists of the same image as in image1 layer which also put at the same position (coordinate) in the stage. To create the shadow bar moving effect, set the brightness of object in image2 layer to be lower. It means, the image will look darken. Next, create the Mask layer. Right clik the horizontal mask layer and choose Mask. At this step, your timeline should look like this:
