Create the First Masking EffectNow we are in the step of creating the first masking effect. The first masking effect looks like a wave-movement across the image from left side to right side. This effect comes from the moving of bar that is used as mask and the image which becomes masked.Add 2 new layers in timeline, named it as vertical mask layer and image1 layer . In vertical mask layer at keyframe 1, create a rectangular shape to make a bar. Put at the left outer side of image. Convert the bar into graphic by pressing F8. Then, add new key frame (F6) at position 13, move the bar to the right outer side of image. At position 25, add new key frame (F6) move the bar back to the first position at the left outer side. Image1 layer consists of the same image as in image layer, but move its position 1-2 pixels to the left and up direction. This shifting position causes the 'wave-movement' in the movie. Now it's time to make the Mask layer. Right clik the vertical mask layer and choose Mask. At this step, your stage and timeline should look like this:
