Extending 437 pages, the book is both extensive in text documentation and in visual imagery.
Contents include an introduction to Director 8.5, Animation, Simple scripting, Lingo (Director's scripting language) and more. Detailed and well written, it's easy to see where you've left off and where to begin next. Created with those new to Director in mind, it serves well as a refresher for those that have been tooling around with the program before. If you've already created a movie, then there are chapters on testing, debugging and distribution. Not sure about your talent in 3D? Or you have some ideas that would really rock if they were able to be seen in this format? Not to worry. Foundation provides an introduction and help. Discussing using Lingo to create and manipulate 3D models. Also covering camera angles, shading and views on the subject.
