Some of the cool things this book goes over are: developing a multiplayer game (using XML Sockets), Flash 3D game development, high score backend engine (PHP, mySQL), computer AI (a must for most games), and a whack of other valuable techniques and ideas for Flash game design.
One of my favorite things about Flash Games Studio is it has lots of visual examples of the effect its trying to create. Basically every other page has a picture to help you better understand the effect its trying to get across.
This book is a good read for any users who already have a good knowledge of Flash, and a good handle on ActionScript. If you are a beginner user I would recommend you start with a more basic Flash book.
