Some of the cool things this book goes over are: developing a multiplayer game (using XML Sockets), Flash 3D game development, high score backend engine (PHP, mySQL), computer AI (a must for most games), and a whack of other valuable techniques and ideas for Flash game design.

One of my favorite things about Flash Games Studio is it has lots of visual examples of the effect it’s trying to create. Basically every other page has a picture to help you better understand the effect it’s trying to get across.

This book is a good read for any users who already have a good knowledge of Flash, and a good handle on ActionScript. If you are a beginner user I would recommend you start with a more basic Flash book.

» Description: Hmm... what to say about this one? It's reminiscent of the closing notes of the opening music from the Three Stooges done in a church organ style with a closing cymbal crash. I'll give this one away gratis, but feel free to check out my free loops and potential upcoming license-mandated ones over in the respective part of Flashkit.
