Vast Library of Components
Balthaser:Fx includes thousands of rich media and design components. These components are organized into several categories within the Controls Tab.
| Animations | Users can select from over 250 animated shapes and backgrounds. |
| Audio | Users can select from 89 sound tracks. | Backgrounds | Users can select from over 200 bitmap and vector backgrounds. |
| Clip Art | Users can select from over 100 clip art images. |
| My Objects | Balthaser:Fx enables users to upload up to 5 MB of their GIF, JPEG, SWF, and PNG files |
| Navigation | Users can select from over 50 navigation grids and buttons. |
| Text | Users can select from 45 simple text paragraphs, text headers and animated headers. |
| Windows | Users can select from 16 windows, which can be used to add text to their projects. |
These categories are further organized into subcategories, making it easy to browse and select the right component. Users simply drag Object Families into the Workspace and use the Selection option found in the Controls Tab to view individual Objects.

Balthaser continually adds new objects (as well as new functionality) to Balthaser:Fx. Messages alerting users of new features are delivered to the Balthaser User Home Page after they log on.
Balthaser has already taken care of the licensing and permissions for all Objects within Balthaser:Fx (including sound, clip art, images, etc.). This includes not only Objects created by the Balthaser team, but also components Balthaser has licensed from third parties such as Corbis, PhotoDisc, and Nonstop Music. As a result, components can be used royalty-free within projects created with Balthaser:Fx.
The asset upload feature lets users upload their own jpgs, gifs, animated gifs, pngs and even swfs into the system. This means you can create customized objects using Flash and then integrate them into your :Fx production. And vis-a-versa, you can create :Fx mini-movies and then use load movies inside Flash to integrate them into your existing Flash productions.
