part one - introduction:
okay. this is my first tutorial, so bear with me.
i think realistic motion is a chronically under-represented discipline when it comes to tutorials. i see lots of tutorials that focus on moving objects around the screen, but few that factor in decelleration, which adds a classy touch, and creates something of an "inertia" effect.
in this tutorial, we're going to be creating an object (i used an apple), that will randomly resize, move, and rotate when a button is pressed. all using some simple deceleration code to give things a nice feel. you're going to need a fairly good grasp of intermediate actionscripting techniques and at least Flash 5, but all the math is fairly basic... hell, i wrote it and i'm no einstein. ;)
