Creating the Candy

Step 6 : Create the Candy

The next step is to create the MC that will collide and trigger the Hit Test Method. The choc movie clip will also have to be draggable so we will need button in this movie clip too (to interact with the mouse and activate the "startDrag" method). To do this create another movie clip like you did before (choose Insert > New Symbol) and name it "choc". A new timeline will appear. On its stage create the candy picture.

Next select Edit > Select All, making sure the whole candy picture has been selected. Then choose Insert > Convert to Symbol. Name the candy "btn_candy" and select the button option. This will convert the candy picture into a button.

» Description: Hmm... what to say about this one? It's reminiscent of the closing notes of the opening music from the Three Stooges done in a church organ style with a closing cymbal crash. I'll give this one away gratis, but feel free to check out my free loops and potential upcoming license-mandated ones over in the respective part of Flashkit.
