Creating your box

Set your stage size to 200x200 (the stage size can be any size but for this tutorial i used that size) and any background color (something not white)

To make things easyer you might want to enable grid the grid. (right click> grid> edit grid) set it to 10x10px and click snap to grid and show grid.

To start off lets make the place where the box is going to appear to come out of. Draw a nice thin grey bar along the top of the stage and to add alittle flare make the top and left lines white and the right and button lines black or dark grey and set your line width to 1.5. Name this layer top and lock the layer when your finished.

Next were going to draw the text box.

Create a new layer and name it box.
Create a white box with no outline the same width as the top bar and drag it down so it leaves two grid boxs worth of space between it and the end of the stage.
Select it and hit F8 to make it a graphic and name if "boxBG".
Set the alpha of the box to anything you want.

Now unlock the top layer and copy the grey bar.
Create a new layer and name it button.
Paste the grey bar and position it one grid box up from the end of the stage.
Select it, hit F8 and check button and name it "button".
Double click on your new button and hit F6 do add keyframes in all 4 frames.
