The CGI

THE CGI (formmail.cgi)

You need not know every detail about the CGI that we will use. We only have to know the variables that we will be using :

$mailprog = ' sendmail program path '
@referers = (' referer1' , 'referer2')

$mailprog defines the location of your sendmail program on your unix system or web server.
@referers allows forms to be located only on servers which are defined in this field. This security fix from the last version which allowed anyone on any server to use your FormMail script on their web site.

NOTE: One free web server I know that has a sendmail program is www.hypermart.netand they use the following settings :
$mailprog = '/var/qmail/bin/qmail-inject';
@referers = (' hypermart.net' , '');
NOTE: Formmail.cgi is created by Matthew M. Wright and is a generic CGI\PERL Code for form-email handling.

After these variables has been set. Upload the file to your server in the root directory or cgi-bin directory (if present). After uploading we are now ready to create our flash form.

» Description: Hmm... what to say about this one? It's reminiscent of the closing notes of the opening music from the Three Stooges done in a church organ style with a closing cymbal crash. I'll give this one away gratis, but feel free to check out my free loops and potential upcoming license-mandated ones over in the respective part of Flashkit.
