Filling The Frames

Now, you should have something that looks sort of like this:

Your Movie should look like this.

Now it's time to make the frames that will make the movie look like it's being minimized. You should only have Three symbols on the stage, 'drag', 'minimize', and 'close'. There should be no more. Insert 3 more layers, so that you should have 4 layers in your movie. Put a 'stop' command in the top layer’s first frame. Now select the topbox's filling and outline, your text, and the buttons. (Select multiples by holding shift and selecting) Right click on them, and choose 'cut'. Select the first frame in your second-from-top layer, and choose Edit <%gt%> Paste in Place. Now select your window background, (The big box), and cut it. Select the first frame in the third-from-top layer, and, again, paste it in Place. There should be nothing in the bottom layer. Go back to the main movie, select the whole window, (Buttons and all) and press F8. Select 'Movie clip' from the radio buttons, and name the movie clip 'Window'. Right click on 'Window' and select 'Properties'. Under the 'Definition' tab, type 'window' for the instance name. Close the dialog box. Right click on 'Window' and select 'Edit', 'Edit In Place', or 'Edit In New Window'. You should now be editing the movie. Select all the frames, Right click, and choose 'Copy Frames'. Highlight Frame 2 in all layers, Right click, and choose 'Paste Frames'. Now, select the window background in the 2nd frame in the third-from-top layer, and delete it. (Oh yeah, delete the text too.) Now the movie clip looks as if it's minimized does it not?

» Description: Hmm... what to say about this one? It's reminiscent of the closing notes of the opening music from the Three Stooges done in a church organ style with a closing cymbal crash. I'll give this one away gratis, but feel free to check out my free loops and potential upcoming license-mandated ones over in the respective part of Flashkit.
