Ok, lets get started. First open up Flash MX 2004. Make 2 circles anywhere on the white grid. Make sure there are not touching. Go to one circle (doesn't matter which one) and make it to a MC (movie clip)
now go into its actionscript and enter this code:
onClipEvent (load) {
moveSpeed = 6;
}
onClipEvent (enterFrame) {
if (Key.isDown (Key.RIGHT)) {
this._x += moveSpeed;
} else if (Key.isDown (Key.UP)) {
this._y -= moveSpeed;
} else if (Key.isDown (Key.DOWN)) {
this._y += moveSpeed;
} else if (Key.isDown (Key.LEFT)) {
this._x -= moveSpeed;
}
}
Now we got that controled. Now that circle will now move around! Now make the other circle into a MC and go to its actionscript. Enter this code to do so...:
onClipEvent (enterFrame) {
if (_parent.circle.hitTest (this)) {
tellTarget ("_parent.") {gotoAndStop(2);}
}
}
MAKE SURE THE FIRST CIRCLE HAS A INSTANCE NAME OF "circle" (without quotes) For noobs, the instance name is like a name for it when using actionscripts. its in properties>instance name>[NAME]
Ok now make another frame thats blank. Now go to the first and second frame and put this actionscript in both frames:
stop();
There you go! Easy huh. Have fun! now go to test movie!
