- Is it Flash 4 compatible?
Completely supported ! - My customers do not want to display the Swift-Generator logo. How do I proceed?
Swift-Generator remains free unless you don't want to display the logo. Otherwise, check out registration procedure. If the logo color conflicts with a designed page, you can change or adapt the logo using the FLA file available on the site. Do not change size. Link to the Swift-Tools main page. - Is it possible to generate GIF?
Swift-Generator produces Flash data only. There are three reasons, the first one is that Flash is now available on major platforms (this argument is weak, I know), the second is a matter of patent (I don't want Swift-Generator to rely on expensive licenses), the third one is that image generation implies a Flash rendering engine, this would cause the tool to be much bigger than it is, and it is not suitable for server cpu load. - It does not seem to work with my Template files. What happens?
Your files are generated with Flash3 with Macromedia Generator addon installed. Swift-Generator is not an Macromedia Generator replacement, it is just another tool to generate Dynamic Flash movies. - Is Swift-Generator Y2K compliant?
Yes. - Accentuated characters seem to have disappeared after generation?
I get unexpectedly extremely spaced text characters after generation. Your template file has been generated from a Mac. Unfortunately you will have to create your template file on Windows. - Why not Open Source?
