Step 4: The Menubar Mask
We don't actually have the menu bar symbol created yet, but we can estimate it's potential size and go ahead and make a mask area for it. Do this by simply selecting the rectangle tool and click-dragging a box of any color that is large enough to cover the menubar.
With that completed. Right click the "menubarmask" layer and select mask from the popup menu. You will notice that it will change the layer underneath it to represent the picture below. When you do this, only the "sound movieclip" layer will be masked. You will have to select the "menubar" layer, and click-drag it up until it turns into a line. and drop it under the "sound movieclip" layer. It won't look like your moving it. But, you will actually be associating it with the mask underneath the "sound movieclip" layer. Once that is complete, hide the "menubar mask" layer by clicking the dot on the "menubar mask" layer underneath the eye icon.
