Now, on the menu button layer, create an object that you will turn into a button. Whatever it looks like, be sure that it will be large enough to cover your menu bar which will slide out from underneath it. When you are ready, choose Insert>Convert to symbol. This brings up the symbol properties dialog box. Name your button "menubutton" and select button as the type. Click ok. Now you can right-click the symbol and choose edit. This brings you into symbol editing mode. Go ahead and create an up, over, down, and hit state for the button.

With that complete. Let's go ahead and assign the actions to the button. Do this by double clicking your button. The instance properties dialog box will appear. On the actions tab, insert the following:

» Description: Hmm... what to say about this one? It's reminiscent of the closing notes of the opening music from the Three Stooges done in a church organ style with a closing cymbal crash. I'll give this one away gratis, but feel free to check out my free loops and potential upcoming license-mandated ones over in the respective part of Flashkit.
