- Three of these movie clips, cfb_logic_up, cfb_logic_down,
and scroll_logic are logical action loops. They are the source of functionality
for the continuous feedback buttons and drag scroll actions, respectively,
and contain no graphic or visual elements whatsoever. Since they are "invisible,"
these action loops appear as small white circles on the stage when not selected.
- The two fake_button_# symbols are the buttons inside the button_list
MC. (The button_list MC's parent symbol is scroll_target.) I
alternated between the two fake buttons so that you can see the the scrolling
more clearly in the exported SWF.
- You should recognize invisibut from Mick's tutorial. Although I have
used a different graphic than his "scroll_ball"circle for
the draggable object, it still serves the same purpose as in Mick's tute.
I named my instance scroll_shape instead of scroll_ball. I should
also say that this scroll_shape graphic is not my own original work;
it was taken from a NavWorks CD that came with my "Flash 4 Magic"
tutorial book.
