Convert to Button
At this point you can now convert this graphic into an actual button this works the same in Fireworks as it does in Flash. Select Insert and Convert to Symbol from the top menu or just press F8. This will open a Symbols Properties box just as Flash does. There you need to choose Button as the behavior. You can leave the name of the button whatever it uses as the default or you can give your button a name. Then click OK. You will then have a button indicated as the one below.
