Exporting Button

Remember we created a temporary folder on your hard drive earlier. Now we will export the two instances of the button to this folder. Click on Edit and Copy HTML Code from your top menu. A Copy HTML Code window will open From the drop down menu in the window choose Generic. As you can see you can select Dreamweaver and other Html Documents. But for exporting for flash we just need to do this as generic .gif files. Select Generic and click Next. You will then need to name your button. I just named mine button1 and click on Next. Next you will need to click on Browse and select that temporary file you created earlier. Click Select that Folder and you will then need to click browse again and repeat this step selecting the temporary folder. This will place both instances of your button in that folder as a .gif file. Fireworks will automatically name your over instance relative to the Up name you gave your button. Something like button1.gif and button1_r2.gif. Now you have completed the exporting of these files and now it is time to go to flash and import them in as a button.
