Create Flower Image
You can import image from outside sources or draw image in flash. In this tutorial I use drawing in flash. I start from drawing oval-shaped petal, color it with gradient color, convert to graphic. Copy the petal and arrange it circlely like flower. Add the center circle and attach some leaves to make it looks fresh and nice. Don't forget to group (Modify > Group) it altogether You can create whatever image you like. I'm sure I'm not as creative as you are.Creating Motion Guide for Flowers
Now it's time to make flowers soaring. Add a new layer as guide layer (Insert > Motion Guide ) with some new layers at its below. The number of layers depend on how many flowers you plan to soaring. I use 6 layers.In Guide Layer draw some curve lines as motion guide for the objects below. Lock the layer.
In layer 2 (below the Guide Layer) at keyframe 2, drag the flower you've created before into stage and put its center to the beginning of one motion guide line. Add new keyframe (F6) at position 16, drag the flower (its center) to the position of motion guide line's end. Then create motion tween (Insert > Create motion Tween) between the keyframes.
Do the same steps to other motion guide lines in different layers and at different keyframe start-end position. This is to avoid flower appear together at same time. To give better effect of flower soaring, you can adjust the alpha and size of flowers.
Then, in Guide Layer at keyframe1, put the action:
stop()
This action combined with the button action above is telling the flower movie clip not to play (soar) before the mouse rollover in it.
at this step your flowermc timeline and stage will look like this:
