Create a New Movie You start your beautiful-movie-with-a-custom-cursor by editing the first actions on the movie. Create a new movie (File> New), and then go edit the frames actions.
Now, you'll note that, in Flash 5, action scripting works a lot different from Flash 4. Instead of double-clicking the frame (to open a window with its properties), you have to right-click the frame. That will pop up a menu with several options (like in Flash 4), but you'll also have a "Actions" option at the end of the list (see image). Click on "Actions" to enable it and open the new Flash 5 Actions Panel. Differently from Flash 4 frame/object properties window, the Flash 5 scripting Panel is only one of a set of windows that can be left open anytime on your working area. The window operation, however, is quite similar to the Flash 4 dialog box, although the actions list has increased greately.
