Clicking Edit will open a new window with four frames. These frames are labeled Up, Over, Down, And Hit Up is the state of a button in which nothing is moving over it. Over is the state in which the mouse is over the button. Down is the state in which the button is being clicked. Hit is very different than the other three frames. The hit frame is the place in which you will define the area on which your button can be clicked and rolled over. The hit area is not shown on your movie, but only tells the flash program that the area you have colored in will be the area that the user can click on your button.
