1.Click Window> Library. You want to open up the library and double click on the button you just made. For my tutorial I would have to click on Button "Home" to access the button menu again. Once you have gotten to that point again. Click the Over Button and click on the stage wherever you put your text. Press F8 to bring up the Convert to Symbol pop-up menu. This time click Movie Clip and name it something like myAnimation. 2. Now back in your library double click on your movie clip that you just made. Insert a layer anywhere you want and make another layer on top of your "Home" Layer. On "Layer 2" you can do any imagination you want. I did the Cross Out. I tend to make the Cross Out one very much because it gives you good results and is easy to make. With each frame just make it a Keyframe. One after the other and add animation to it. (See .fla file for how I did it). 3. Now time for the most used Actionscript the Stop();. Click the Actions tab near the bottom and you should see a menu similar to the one I have. And in the area where you can write put stop(); . Make sure you include the ; or it won't work. Now Go back to Scene 1 and test your animation. Guess what You have just made an animated button. Congrates! The next time1 you want to add animation to your buttons just do this process. And be creative with this. |
