Creating a Rotating Menu (Flash 4)
Author: Arran Schlosberg
| Website: http://www.q-designs.com |
Create a new scene. Put as many frames as you require for your different sections.
Give each of those frames an appropriate Label according to what will be in them e.g. about us.
Now, in the MC 'nav' (your menu), go into each of the buttons and add the following in the actions tab:
On (Release)
Begin Tell Target ("/")
Go to and Stop ("thelabel")
End Tell Target
End On
Change "thelabel" to the Label of the frame you want it to link to e.g. "about us" (leave the "" around the word).
N.B. Remember to put text over the buttons so the viewer knows what they link to.
