Making Flash Movies Transparent
Author: Kirupa Chinnathambi

Introduction
Having received hundreds of emails on how to make a Flash movie
transparent on a HTML background, I decided to show everyone how
to make it themselves. See the examples below (I
love the word Himalayas :)
(NB - The transparency will not work in Netscape!)
As you can
see, the second animation allows the background to be seen
through the movie. So, now you might be thinking that this has to do with
some setting in Flash. The answer is.....No. The examples above
are from the same animation. The trick lies in the HTML that Flash
outputs when you publish the movie.

Philosopher, student, computer nerd who loves Computers, Books related to Computers, TV Shows about Computers, just your typical, average geek. (Looks at everything and wonders if it can be reproduced into a vector format and made into a Flash animation)
