Setting up the Main Text - Movie Clip (cont.)

For the people who didn't want to use an external textfile, read the next part 2b). If you do use it and did number 2), skip 2b) and go to 3)

Step 2b :

Open a empty flash-document. create a new movieclip, give it the name window and select Movie Clip. Open the Movie Clip. It has one layer already, rename it to actions. In frame 1, add the action.
Set Variable: "scrolltext" = "your text goes here"
Create 3 empty keyframes at frame 2, 3 and 4 (after finishing, you can delete frame 2 and 3 but this is just to synchronise the rest of the tutorial). At frame 4, add the actions:

Set Variable: "balkheight" = "200"
Stop

Fine, we now imported our text from the textfile into a flash-variable.
