Adding the Scrollbuttons and Necessary Triggers (cont.)Step 3 : To trigger these Movie Clips when one of the both buttons is pressed or hold down, they need instance names so that the buttons can addres them. You already placed both movieclips in the triggers layer frame 4 of Movie Clip window. Now select scrollUp and give it the same instance name, scrollUp. Select Movie Clip scrollDown and also give it the same instance name, scrollDown. Step 4 : Select the button to scroll up (the top one) and add the following actions:
On (Press, Drag Over)
Begin Tell Target ("scrollUp")
Go to and Play (2)
End Tell Target
End On
On (Release, Release Outside)
Begin Tell Target ("scrollUp")
Go to and Stop (1)
End Tell Target
End On
