Creating Floating Button Labels

The Label
In this keyframe place your text with a stop action. The registration mark (the cross hair in the center) is the center of your button so create your text box to the side with a pointer to the center. Like this:
Once this movie clip is placed in the Over state. You can adjust
its alpha so the background can still be seen if you wish.
In the example I have a button that has two overall states - on and off
(for more information on this button read our tutorial.)
It's actually a movie clip with two buttons in it.
