For a true multimedia interactive button you can assign sound to your button. To do this select the "Down" frame in the Timeline, choose Modify> Frame, and select the Sound tab in the Frame Properties. 
Note: To add your own sounds you will have to import them first into your library. To do this choose File> Import... You will now be able to select your sounds from the Sound drop-down box in the Frame Properties.
