Review
What you have basically done is tell flash:
- You want the MC called maincursor that is on the root level of your movie to be dragged by the mouse.
(you used to write the Flash 4 AS code as /maincursor - now it's _root.maincursor) - You want the MC to be locked to the center of your mouse.
That's all you need to do to have replaced the mouse with a custom pointer!
But we're not satisfied with that are we?
If not, then I'll be soon publishing a tutorial on making a custom cursor that responds to your movement.
Also, don't forget to vote nicely if you found this tutorial helpful! It's much appreciated!
