Using Layers

Add/Delete Layers

To add a new layer to your movie, choose Insert> Layer. You'll see "layer 2" appear above "layer 1". Keep this in mind for when you're inserting layers in a movie with heaps of layers. Or alternatively you can click on the small white page icon that has a "+" sign on it. Have a play with the "plus" button in the little interactive demo below.

Click on the add icon to add a layer then click on the trashcan to delete it.

Now we're going to delete them. To remove these layers click on the trashcan icon to the right of the "plus" button.

It's too easy!
