Ok, first thing to do when making something in flash is to keep our layers named so that it is easier and less confusing later. So what we need to do is call our first layer "motion".

Now that we have done that we are going to draw the object, which is going to be moving. Just draw a circle or something simple for now.

Select the cursor and select the circle and convert it to a symbol by pressing F8. We want it to be a graphic and call it "Circle".

NOTE: If you don’t understand things that are in bold, flick to the last page of this tutorial where I have explained them
