Positive Area - the actual elements of the art, line, shape, value, texture, and color.
Realism - A style of art that retains the basic impression of visual actuality without the extremes of detail.
Representational Art - A type of art that the subject is represented so the observer is reminded of the actual object.
Space - The distance (measurable) between images or points.
Subject - In descriptive art, subject is the person or thing represented as well as the artist's experiences: in abstract art subject refers to the visual signs used by the artist.
Subjective - The part of art that reflects personal viewpoint and emotion.
Unity - The result of brining the elements of art into the appropriate ratio between harmony and variety to give a sense of oneness.
Volume - A measurable area of defined or occupied space.
