4. Open the actions and behaviors panels (Window <%lt%> Development Panels). The behaviors panel will allow you to add ActionScript without having to type it yourself.

5. Select your button on the main stage. In the behaviors panel select the + button and choose Movieclip <%lt%> Goto and Play at frame or label.

6. For the movie clip name type bar (this is what you named the movie clip in step3). For the frame number type the number 2. This will write the actionscript that will tell the movieclip to start playing from frame 2 after the button is clicked. Click OK.
