Figuring Frame Rates - Page 3

You can only choose one frame rate for the entire movie so set it before you create your masterpiece. To do this choose Modify > Movie, and change the value in the text box. (see below)

A common mistake when trying to understand frame rates is that the Frames-Per-Second setting is an accelerator, it isn't. The frames-per-second setting cannot make the movie go faster. It also acts as a barrier to prevent powerful systems from running the movie faster than was intended - a "speed limit", if you will.
