Creating and Naming the Movieclip
As soon as you open Flash a fresh new movie will appear in shiny white (if
not: File>new). Maybe some people like white but it's some to sterile
for me, especially when waking up after a whole night flashing. Thats why we are going to change this.

First take the rectangle tool (R), select fills only by clicking
the stroke color and select no color, then draw a white
(?!) rectangle with the same dimensions as your movie.
Select the rectangle and convert it to a movieclip (F8>Movieclip).
In the instance window (ctrl+I), name the movieclip background.
