Flash movies aren't just moving shapes, text can be used to give an extra dimension. In Flash, you can adjust the font, style, size, spacing, colour and alignment of your text like a word processor. You can also transform your text like in photoshop with such options as rotation, flip and skew. The text can also be broken apart into its individual characters and reshaped and what makes Flash soooo cool is that you can create editable text in movies which allow the users to add, modify and access text just like your boring old HTML web pages. Add Text with Default Settings
To add text with default settings simply Select the Text Tool on the tool bar and then click on the stage where you want the text to start. When you click on the text tool in the tool bar you will notice a new group of icons appear below the tool bar. These are the text attributes and will allow you to change any of the text attributes like font, style, size, spacing, colour and alignment.
