setProperty (_root.map, _x, "0");
setProperty (_root.map, _y, "0");

this adds the mapcontainer to 0x0

in the second frame

Add this for the movement of the man clip

 _root.map.man._y = _root.map.man._y-20;
}
if (Key.isDown(Key.DOWN) and _root.cangodown == true) {
 _root.map.man._y = _root.map.man._y+20;
}

 _root.map.man._x = _root.map.man._x-20;
}
if (Key.isDown(Key.RIGHT) and _root.cangoright == true) {

this controls the man and has the cango vars in to stop him moving through walls

And finally add this to frame 3

gotoAndPlay (2);

There that is it test your movie then play about with the map variables
