Now to get interaction with another character. First of all create another movieclip and give it an instance name i called it "friend" this is the character your interacting with, put itin the top left corner away from the other character Create another movieclip in the bottom right corner, make it an unfilled square, this will be your inventory box. i called it "inventory" Create another movieclip for the text that the person you interact with will say, make the first frame of the movieclip blank, the second frame contains a line of text like "get the item before u talk to me", and the third frame contains another textfield with some text like "well done", so your movieclip should now have 3 frames in it. Also put this code into each frame of the movieclip so it wont just constantly repeat itself. "stop();" also give this movieclip an instance name i made it "message1".
Just one more movieclip to make :), the item for the inventory. make it smaller than the inventory square and give it an instance name, i called it item.
